Monica’s Personal Nutrition Plan

I haven’t always eaten like a Nutritionista- that is for sure!  I grew up on fast foods, processed foods and sodas. I lived on Wendy’s dollar menu in college and continued a fast food lifestyle throughout life until my health scare.  My children who love healthy, whole foods (even more than I do) also spent their first few years eating McDonalds, Chik-Fil-A, Lunchables and the typical processed foods diet.  People are SHOCKED when they hear my story.  I’m not sure what people imagine but I think they assume I had only been exposed to fruits and vegetables.


So what do I eat?  What are my nutritional philosophies?

I eat lots of plants, eat only organic, consume daily green smoothies and indulge occasionally on raw desserts.  My food comes from Mother Nature.  I crave greens and whole foods that nourish my body.  That even sounds crazy to me, but believe me it is possible!  I don’t have discipline when it comes to my food.  I truly eat for taste and flavor.  I never liked math so I don’t make it an annoying math game counting calories.  I eat foods that I love and follow sound nutrition principals to make sure I am getting all the essential nutrients I need.  The freedom from not counting calories- the freedom from eating tasteless, repetitive foods – the freedom from microwaved diet meals- THAT is the freedom my plans will teach you.  You can’t change overnight but every single time you choose a healthier option it WILL have an impact on your health.  Every food choice can either prevent aging or speed up the aging process.  I choose foods that prevent aging and disease and I teach you how to do the same (while still enjoying what you eat).


Since I eat a plant based diet does that mean you have to?  Of course not!  It was not a change that I made overnight and when I first started on this journey I would not have been able to imagine that I could FEEL this GOOD or EAT THIS HEALTHY!  Some of you will be so inspired at how your body reacts to REAL FOODS that your journey will lead you on a path similar to mine, while others may only make a few minor changes- and that is OKAY!  My plans will be great to help you look fabulous from the inside out for all of your major events.  What tips and habits you choose to implement as a lifestyle are up to you.  I will educate you along the way and show you how GREAT healthy can taste and feel.  It’s really not as complicated as it’s made out to be and is a lot easier when you have a mentor and a PLAN!

I had to experience my own struggles in order to teach people how to transition from eating junk food to living a truly healthy lifestyle.  I’ve been on both sides and can relate to the struggles and temptations that you must overcome to ENJOY healthy, whole foods.

Remember you do NOT have to eat exactly like I do.  I’ve spent years researching nutrition and am at a different point in my health journey than you may be ready to go.  I design eating plans and offer nutrition tips that work for everyone regardless if you are a Vegan, Vegetarian, Pescitarian or Flexitarian.  I have a Holistic approach to health and wellness that WILL change your life.  My nutrition plans help people achieve optimal health, have sustainable energy, and enhance natural beauty.
